Bart is a creative writer on various topics, and regularly published his scribbles in the Dutch kite magazine ‘Vlieger’. He was also editor/writer for the P&F Bulletin (monthly for expatriates in Bogor, Indonesia), the Indonesian Ecolabelling Institute (LEI), Vliegerfreund (magazine of Dutch kite club), and the Hinkelnymf (quarterly of Forestry Department, Wageningen Agricultural University).
